10/13/2009 - My utility bills average $80 for electricity, $15 for gas (I haven’t gotten a winter bill in my new house yet) and $150 for cellphone and cable and whatnot. The city of Cedar Rapids spends $11,000,000 a year on utilities.
For a breakdown, I’ve provided the documents I got from the city.
